Explore Greater Manchester and parts of Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire and the Peak District.

Wayfarer is a day ticket that lets you explore Greater Manchester and parts of Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire and the Peak District so it gives you an enormous choice of places to visit.

Whether you are planning a visit or live nearby, there's no better way to discover all that the area has to offer. From the rugged splendour of the Peak District and West Pennine moorland, to tranquil Cheshire countryside, the area offers great contrast and variety. There are fascinating towns and quiet villages to visit - each with local character and plenty of interesting things to do and see. When you travel by bus, train and tram you will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the views along the way - and if you've got kids they'll love the rides.

Wayfarer is a scratch-card that you buy in advance and self-date on the day you choose to travel. You can use it on almost all the buses, trains and Metrolink trams in the Wayfarer area. Wayfarer tickets are valid by bus at any time of day and by train and tram after 9.30am weekdays and anytime Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
